Société Logique is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote universal design and to be involved in the creation of universally accessible environments.

As a social economy enterprise, our strength is in combining a deep understanding of the needs of people with functional limitations with a sound experience in architecture. Through our planning consultancy services, our professionals in architecture and urban planning are fully dedicated to the promotion and development of spaces that are accessible to all.

" The concept of universal design originated from the needs of people with functional limitations. These needs are indicative of the difficulties felt by all citizens. Universal design offers solutions that meet everybody’s accessibility requirements appropriately. "

— Sophie Lanctôt, former Executive Director, strategic consultant.

We want to enable the largest number of people, from all backgrounds, regardless of their age or abilities, to participate in community life, by increasing the proportion of places they can use equitably.

Société Logique maintains special partnerships with several government, municipal and community bodies, as well as many clients from the private sector.

We also cultivate strong ties with a variety of local and international organizations working in sustainable development, universal design or architecture.

" Universal design aims at a superior accessibility performance to that provided by the current building regulations. Being inspired by LEED standards, the quality of the built environment can be improved both in aesthetic terms, and in terms of durability and functionality. "

— Sophie Lanctôt, former Executive Director, strategic consultant.
